Harry wears necklace William broke on Colombia tour

Eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted a curious addition to Prince Harry’s wardrobe while on tour in Colombia, one with a special connection to his older brother, Prince William.
Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have been touring the Latin American country, with its hot climate leading to Harry’s choice to leave one more button on his shirts undone.
But this also gives us a glimpse of his prized necklace, which he claims his brother Prince William had broken when they engaged in a physical fight on the kitchen floor of his London home in 2019, as Harry detailed in his memoir, Spare.

Harry claimed the confrontation was over Meghan Markle, with William supposedly describing Meghan as “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.
Harry said the fight escalated, writing: “[William] grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace and… knocked me to the floor”.
“He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Harry said William later apologised for the “regretful” physical fight they had – but reportedly said: “I didn’t attack you, Harold.'”
Harry later expanded on the topic of the fight in his interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, even revealing the jewellery in question.
”What necklace was this that he broke?” the talk show host asked, to which Harry replied, while reaching into his shirt, “This one, which is now fixed.”

“It’s got my kids’ heartbeats, which my wife gave me,” he explained, holding up the charms before gesturing to a third pendant.
“And then a friend of mine in Botswana made this for me, which has got tiger’s eye in the middle.”
On this occasion, Harry was seen wearing the sentimental piece on the first day of the tour with a blue shirt and navy suit, as well as on a visit to the country’s National Centre for the Arts later that day, where he changed into a beige suit with a white shirt.
